Back Remove is operated by Tech Product Partners Kft. This policy describes the extension and its supporting website.
Images and processing
When you choose an image or an example, the extension sends that image to our backend for background removal. The backend forwards it to the configured Replicate model provider. Provider handling of submitted images is also subject to that provider’s policies.
The service temporarily stores generated PNG results to make preview and download possible. Its default cache expiry is one hour; cleanup currently runs when the service receives requests, so an expiry setting is not a guarantee of deletion at that exact time. A result URL may be accessed by anyone who has the URL. Keep sensitive images out of the service.
Identifiers and usage
The extension creates a random user identifier, installation date and device identifier. User identity may sync through Chrome sync storage; view preferences and counters are saved in extension storage. The backend receives the user identifier and IP address for request limits and abuse prevention.
If usage analytics is enabled for this product, it records events such as opening the extension, starting processing and downloading a result, together with the random identifiers, language, extension version and usage counters. Image contents and file names are not included in extension telemetry. The website only sends install/uninstall page events if its separate analytics setting is enabled. No advertising tracker is loaded by this website.
Your choices
Choosing an image starts processing. To avoid transmitting an image, do not select or drop it into the workspace. Removing the extension deletes its local extension storage; synced identifiers may be managed through your Chrome account settings.
